Stable One UI 6 Watch update is coming soon for Galaxy Watches

It’s been over three months since the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra launched with the One UI 6 Watch software, but Samsung still hasn’t sent out the stable update for older Galaxy Watches. However, it looks like the One UI 6 Watch update for the Galaxy Watch 6 is coming soon.

According to SamMobile, the Galaxy Watch 6 will get the stable One UI 6 Watch update on November 12 in Canada. Recently, Samsung finished the beta program and gave the update to users who participated.

Once the update is available for the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, it’s likely that the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 will receive their updates a few days later.

One UI 6 Watch, based on Wear OS 5, brings many new features to your Galaxy Watch. Here’s what you can expect:

Energy Score: You’ll get a daily score that shows how ready you are to reach your fitness goals, based on your mental and physical state.

Better Sleep Tracking: The update offers more accurate sleep tracking and uses AI to analyze your sleep quality.

Custom Workouts: You can create your own workout routines.

New Gestures: Use double-pinch gestures to quickly turn off alarms, dismiss notifications, or control music.

Quick Navigation: Scroll through notifications and apps by swiping left or right. You can tap the bottom of the screen to see things like timers or workouts.

Notification Settings: You can change notification settings right on your watch without needing your phone.

More Control: The update includes new controls for features like Do Not Disturb, Always On Display, and different wake options.

Quick Access to Emojis: You can easily choose your favorite emojis and save images from messages to your watch’s Gallery.

New Font: There’s a fresh new font for text on your watch.

Music Connections: When you play music, your watch will automatically connect to your paired Galaxy Buds or Bluetooth speakers.

Power Saving Mode: You can limit some health tracking features to help your battery last longer.
